Chhattisgarh Begins Paddy Procurement at ₹3,100 per Quintal; 2,739 Centres Operational, Online Token System Active

Raipur: Chhattisgarh has officially launched the paddy procurement process for the Kharif Marketing Season 2025–26 from today. As announced earlier, the state government will procure paddy from farmers at ₹3,100 per quintal, maintaining the previous year’s support price. A total of 2,739 procurement centres have been set up across the state. The government has set a target of procuring 160 lakh metric tonnes of paddy this season. To curb illegal transportation of paddy across state borders, strict security arrangements have been put in place at district checkpoints.
